Mrs. Bonnie Irene Brand, age 93, of Blue Ridge, GA passed away Monday, December 27, 2010 at Heritage Health Care in Blue Ridge, GA. Mrs. Brand was born in Cobb County, GA on September 25, 1917 to the late James Monroe and Bonnie Lutz Black. She was a homemaker and was preceded in death by her husband, Buford Marion Brand. Survivors include two sisters, Ida Mae Clayton of Smyrna, GA and Ruby Fridell of Marietta, GA; nephew, James V. Black of Acworth, GA and many other nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services were conducted on Wednesday, December 29, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. from the Akins of Blue Ridge Chapel with Rev. Wayne Mashburn officiating.
