Mr. Bobby Wayne Prather, age 74, of Blue Ridge, GA passed away on Saturday, April 14, 2012 in the Fannin Regional Hospital in Blue Ridge, GA. Mr. Prather was born on December 29, 1937 in Mississippi to the late Levi Presley and Clara Fay Scott Prather. He was the manager of Fannin County CO-OP for twenty-three years. Mr. Prather also managed the Blue Ridge Flea Market for several years. He was of the Baptist Faith. He is survived by his wife, Evelyn Green Prather of Blue Ridge, GA; son and daughter-in-law, Rodger Wayne and Gladys Prather of Blue Ridge, GA; daughters and sons-in-law, Suzie and Bill Kendall of Morganton, GA, Linda and Joey Davenport of Sylva, NC, Wynoka and Mark Chitty of Ellijay, GA and Lisa and Mike Sanders of Blue Ridge, GA; brother and sister-in-law, R.B. and Jane Prather of Dyersburg, TN; sisters, Betty Earl Green and Janie Sue Smith both of Dyersburg, TN; thirteen grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren also survive. Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, April 17, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. from the Akins of Blue Ridge Chapel. Eulogies will be by Kay Curbow and Bill Kendall. Music will be by Beverly Thompson. Pallbearers will be Robert Prather, Levi Prather, Jimmy Smith, Mike Sanders, Josh Dills and Brian Dills. Honorary Pallbearers will be Fannin County CO-OP Board of Directors, Elmerine Gray and Mr. and Mrs. William Turner. Interment will follow in the Welcome Hill #2 Cemetery.
