Bobby B. Stewart, age 77, of Blue Ridge, GA passed away Tuesday, December 8, 2015, at his home. Mr. Stewart was born in Blue Ridge, GA on April 13, 1938 to the late Freda Lee Stewart and Hattie Mattie Melvina Patterson Stewart. He worked in the mines for Cities Service and was a member of Sunrise Tabernacle and was a deacon for 25 years. He is survived by his wife Kathleen "Kat" B. Stewart of Blue Ridge; daughters and sons-in-law, Kay and Tim Stahl of Blue Ridge, Patsy and James Stanley of Blue Ridge; Karen and Gary Bennie of Blue Ridge; brothers, Johnny Stewart of Blue RIdge; sisters, Miney Cochran of Varnell, GA and Vina Marie Green of Overland Park, Kansas; six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted Thursday, December 10, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. from the Akins of Blue Ridge Chapel with Pastor Larry Turner officiating. Music was by Jeanie Miller, Addy Ridings, Shirley Walker, Pastor Larry and Brenda Turner. Pallbearers were Journey Stahl, Blake Stewart, David Davis, Kevin Hanson, Gary Bennie, and Harold Rhodes.
