Bobbie Ruth Ashley, age 83, of Liberty, SC passed away Wednesday, March 15, 2017. She was preceded in death by siblings, Cecil Bruce, Jr, Max Bruce, Louise Breeden, Marilyn Hamby and Patsy Ann Heldt. Mrs. Ashley is survived by her husband of sixty four years, Bill Ashley of the home; sons, Michael (Jodie) Ashley of Marietta, SC, Robert (Susan) Ashley 0f Liberty, SC; brothers, Pete Bruce, Alley (Faye) Bruce, Gwen Bruce, Sam (Brenda) Bruce; sister, Scellos Faye Leavins; grandchildren, Nicole Ashley Cline (Lee), Colton Ryan Ashley (Lauren), Megan Leann Ashley, numerous great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, March 19, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. from the Akins of Copperhill Chapel with Rev. Frank Fisher officiating. Music will be by Bob and Susie Nanney. Interment will follow in the Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church cemetery in the Postelle community.
