Mrs. Blanche Marie Vandiver, age 96, of Suches, GA, passed away Thursday, April 24, 2008 in the Heritage Health Care Center in Blue Ridge. Born in Fannin County, she was the daughter of the late William Harrison Brawley and Jennie Estalee Rogers Brawley. She was a member of Cooper's Creek Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband Ronnie "R.C." Vandiver. She was survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Ervin and Leila Vandiver of Blue Ridge, and Arnold and Lynn Vandiver of Hampton, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Annie Faye and Eugene Gilreath of Suches; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted Saturday, April 26, 2008 at 3:00 p.m. from the Akins of Blue Ridge Chapel with Rev. Tim Garrett officiating. Interment followed in Brawley Cemetery.
