Mr. Billy Carl Dilbeck, age 58, of Blue Ridge passed away on Monday March 16, 2009. Born in Fannin County, GA he was the son of the late Ernest and Lillie Marie White Dilbeck. Mr. Dilbeck was a member of the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. He also served in the United States Army in the Vietnam era. Survivors include his wife, Mary Plowman of the home; step-son, Tim Johnson of Blue Ridge, GA; brothers, Donnie Dilbeck of Blue Ridge, Junior Dilbeck of Alpharetta, GA and Michael Dilbeck of Morganton, GA; three sisters, Kathy Tanner, Doris Flowers, and Lisa Green all of Blue Ridge, GA.Funeral services were conducted on Saturday March 21, at 11:00 a.m. from the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Kenneth Mann and Rev. Charles Shelton officiating. Music was provided by Jill Whitaker and Kent Foster. Interment followed in the Church cemetery with military rites provided by the North Georgia Honor Guard. The following gentlemen were selected to serve as pallbearers: Corey Whitaker, Jason Tanner, Marty Tanner, Glen Dilbeck, David Dilbeck, and Matthew Dilbeck. The following gentlemen were selected to serve as honorary pallbearers: Wade Woody, Homer Green, Jackie Green, Gary Ray, John Seabrook, and Jerry Smith.
