Billy "Bill" Junior Norton, age 86, of Blue Ridge, passed away on Sunday, May 21, 2023 at his home. He was born in Fannin County, on February 14, 1937, to the late Robert Elbert Norton and Hazel Burnette Norton. Bill was a member of Old Jerusalem Baptist Church and served as a Deacon for twenty years. He worked as a carpenter and a truck driver. Bill loved his grandchildren. He enjoyed riding the back roads and vacationing with his family. He is preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Buddy Norton, Harrison Norton, and Hayden Elbert Norton; and brother-in-law, Jerry Martin.

Bill is survived by his wife of 68 years, Dorothy Marie Norton; daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Patrick Crain; grandchildren, Patrick Matthew Calvin (Brittany) Crain and Madeliene Marie Crain; great-grandchildren, Evan, Caden, Grayson, and Odin; siblings, Kenny Norton, Bonita (Gary) Mashburn, Wanda (Richard) May, Hazel Martin, and Teresa Norton and a host of other family, friends, and church family also survive.
