Mrs. Betty Jean Weaver, age 74, of Blue Ridge, GA passed away Sunday, January 4, 2009 in the Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga, TN. Born in Fannin County, she was the daughter of the late John Mosley and Stella Crawford Mosley. She was a member of Morganton Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by a son, Joe Weaver in 2004. She is survived by her husband, Al Weaver of Blue Ridge; son, John Weaver of Blue Ridge; brother, William Don Mosley of Forrest Park, GA; sisters, Doralese Tipton of Blue Ridge and Ann Postell of Blue Ridge; grandchildren, Kristan Weaver and Melissa Holloway; and great grandchildren, Tyler Weaver, Austin Weaver, Dakota Crawford, and Mikayla Holloway. Funeral services were conducted Wednesday, January 7, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. from the Akins of Blue Ridge Chapel with Rev. Delmar Davenport officiating. Pallbearers were Daryl McEachern, Ray Weaver, Kris Weaver, Andy Crawford, Lane Holloway, and Jeff Weaver. Interment followed in Chastain Memorial Park.
