Betty Ann Haire, age 80, of Turtletown, TN passed away Sunday, July 04, 2010. Mrs. Haire was born in Vanita, OK to the late Byron Fredrick and Lula Myrtle Smith Gilmore. She was a retired LPN and had worked at Fannin Regional Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Hair and brother, Ernest David Gilmore. She was of the Holiness Faith. She is survived by sons, David Ray Haire of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Toby Gene Haire of Ducktown, TN; daughters, Mary Francis Haire of Ducktown, TN, Juanita Haire Price of Turtletown, TN; brother, Arel Gilmore of Niota, TN; sisters, Juanita Gilmore MacPhee of Mahopac, NY, Joyce Gilmore of Miami, OK; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted Wednesday, July 7th at 11:00 A.M. from the Akins of Copperhill Chapel with Rev. Ray Cheatham officiating. Music was by James Moran and Rev. Ray Cheatham and Wanda Cheatham. Children and grandchildren will serve as pallbearers. Interment followed in the family cemetery.Condolences to the family may be sent to www.akinsfuneralhome.com.
