Mrs. Betty Sue Conner, age 69, of Blue Ridge, GA passed away on February 8, 2008 at the Copper Basin Medical Center in Ducktown, TN. She was born in Fannin County on March 14, 1938, to the late Fred and Bonnie Russell Earley. Mrs. Conner was a homemaker and was of the Baptist Faith. She was survived by her husband , Audolee Conner of Blue Ridge, GA; daughters and sons-in-law, Kathy and John Thomason of Epworth, GA and Teresa and Benny Picklesimer of McCaysville, GA; brother, Glenn Earley of Ellijay, GA; sisters, Imogene Paulus of Akron, OH, Ann Ware of GA and Peggy Jarrett of Blue Ridge, GA; two grandchildren, Becky Thomason Millsaps and Whitley Picklesimer; two great grandchildren, Brian Millsaps and Dylan Millsaps. Funeral services were conducted Sunday, February 10, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. from the Akins Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Mike Jarrett officiating. Eulogy was by Jerry Cole. Music was by Jason Campbell. Interment followed in the Mobile Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers were Jody Millsaps, Ronald Jarrett, Jeff Ware, Larry Conner, Bobby Conner and Brian Nicholson.
