Betty Jo McClure Campbell, age 69, of Epworth, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, March 21, 2026, in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

Born May 6, 1956, in Washington, D.C., she was the daughter of the late Johnnie Brazelton McClure and Jean Elizabeth Bruno McClure.

Betty Jo was a lifelong member of First Baptist Church of Epworth. A true equestrian, she had a lifelong love of horses and took pleasure in both riding and showing them. She enjoyed the outdoors, particularly riding motorcycles, and had a deep love for animals of all kinds.

She is preceded in death by her parents; and two husbands, Mark Greenway and Tim Campbell.

Betty Jo is survived by her siblings, Barbara Hubard, John McClure, Lena Rinehart (Mike), and Brenda Owenby (Vernon); nieces and nephews, Christy Marie Hubard, Sophie Danielle Hubard, Joyce McClure, Jennifer McClure, John Michael Rinehart, David Jacob Rinehart, Sarah Rice, and Caleb Owenby; great nieces and nephews, Kaya Hubard, Jai Hubard, Sadie Mae Rice, Elliana Owenby, Carson Owenby, Owen Rice, and Nellie Rice; and cousins, Mary Alice Helgesen (Jay).

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2026 at 12:00 p.m. from the Epworth First Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Chris Clark officiating. Music will be provided by Jody and Nathan Nicholson. Serving as pallbearers are John McClure, Terry McClure, Jody Nicholson, and Nathan Nicholson. The family will visit with friends at the Akins-Cobb Funerals & Cremations of Blue Ridge, GA on Saturday, March 28, 2026 from 10:30 a.m. until 11:45 a.m.
