Mrs. Betty Ann Weaver, age 62, of Blue Ridge passed away on Wednesday October 13, 2010 at her home. Born in Copperhill, TN she was the daughter of the late Rufus and Priscilla Joyce White. She had worked for many years at United Community Bank and was a member of the Williamstown Methodist Church. Survivors include her husband of forty five years, Ted Weaver; son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Donna Weaver of Chatsworth, GA; grandchildren, Matt and Haley Weaver of Chatsworth, GA; brother, David White of Blue Ridge, GA; mother-in-law, Mabel Weaver of Blue Ridge, GA; aunts, Edith Joyce and Rhoda Welch both of McCaysville, GA and Pearl Abercrombie of Mineral Bluff, GA; sister-in-law, Lynda Mullinax of Ellijay, GA. Funeral services were conducted on Friday, October 15, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. from the Akins Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James Mitchell officiating. Music was provided by Imogene Stewart. Interment followed in the Crestlawn cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Jimmy Patterson, Tommy Lackey, Rex Miller, Bill Queen, Jimmy Frank Hopkins, and Leonard Hunter. The Williamstown Methodist congregation will served as honorary pallbearers.
