He is survived by son, Ed Allen of Farner, TN; a daughter, Karen Allen of Cleveland, TN; a sister, Joann and husband, Larry Beavers of Pisgah, Al; two grandchildren, Renee Lachae Medders and Natasha Medders. Nephew Larry Dean Beavers, Jr. Many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, July 24th at 2:00 p.m. from the Community Baptist Church with Rev. Mitchell Allen and Rev. Eric Waters officiating. Music was by Calla Mae Miller and the Barker Brothers. Pallbearers included Cleaston Burger, Irvin Melton, Tony Wooten, Nathan Henderson, Andrew Cook and Eddie Allen. Honorary pallbearers included Randall Allen, Teddy Stiles, Randy Payne and Doug Collins. Interment followed in the Brock cemetery.
