Benny Picklesimer, age 63 of McCaysville, GA passed away Thursday, January 21, 2021 at his home. He was born on February 22, 1957 in McCaysville, GA to the late Harvey Allen Picklesimer and Ruby Ellen Walkey Picklesimer. He was a warehouse manager for Epic Enterprises. Benny was a dedicated member of Bethel Church for thirty-one years where he served as the pianist and a deacon. He was a God-fearing man who used his musical talent to serve the Lord. Survivors are his wife of thirty-five years, T.C. Picklesimer of McCaysville, GA; daughter, Whitley Picklesimer of McCaysville, GA; siblings, Deborah Sue Parris (Ronnie) of Blue Ridge, GA, Rev. Alan Pickelsimer (Johnie) of Mineral Bluff, GA, Bobby Picklesimer of Chatsworth, GA, Carol Newberry (Larry) of Mineral Bluff, GA, Kathy Whitener (Dennis) of Blue Ridge, GA and Roger Picklesimer of Ducktown, TN; uncles, aunts and cousins. Funeral services were conducted on Tuesday, January 26, 2021 from the Bethel Church with Rev. Doug Payne and Rev. Brett Curtis officiating. Music was provided by Rodney Picklesimer, Rebecca Millsaps and Jeremy Payne. Interment followed in the Bethel Church Cemetery. Pallbearers were Rodney Picklesimer, Dylan Millsaps, Junior Whitener, Sam Parris, Trigg Parris and Jody Millsaps. Honorary Pallbearers were the Deacons and Trustees of Bethel Church.
