Benjamin Thomas Schmitt, age 45, of Blue Ridge, passed away on Saturday, March 21, 2026. He was born in Dunedin, FL on May 26, 1980. He worked for both Whitepath Fabtech and Onyx in the shipping and receiving department.

Ben's essence was that of love and light. He walked softly and left deep, lasting memories.

Ben was one of these beautiful souls. All his family and friends were honored and grateful to have Ben as a friend, a brother, and most of all, as a beloved son.

Ben leaves behind his loving parents, Tom and Joan Schmitt; brother, Tim Schmitt and his wife, Brenda; nephew, Seth Schmitt; and a host of friends.
