Mr. Benjamin Fritz McClelland, age 84, of McDonough, GA passed away on Wednesday December 10, 2008 in the Henry Medical Center in Stockbridge, GA. Born in Lakeland, FL he was the son of the late George William and Emma Adele Romefelt McClelland. He was a former resident of Fannin County and had previously worked for the Tennessee Chemical Company for twenty two years. Later he retired from Eastern Airlines working in Jet maintenance. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Blue Ridge and a fifty year Master Mason with Blue Ridge Lodge #67 F&AM. Mr. McClelland also served his country in the Army Air Force. He was also preceded in death by one son, Benjamin Fritz McClelland, Jr.; and three brothers, W.S. McClelland, Carl Jackson McClelland and Alton Lester McClelland.Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Mitzi Sabrina Carr and husband Bruce James Carr of McDonough, GA, grandchildren, Rachel Lauren Carr of Marietta, GA and Rebekah Noel Carr of McDonough, GA; one brother, George Hobson McClelland, Sr.Memorial graveside services were conducted on Saturday, December 13, 2008 at 4:00 p.m. from the Chastain Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev.
