Barbara Knight Turner, age 69, of Blue Ridge, GA passed away Sunday, May 24, 2015 in the Pruitt Health Care Center in Blue Ridge, GA. Ms. Turner was born on June 14, 1945 in Hamilton County, TN to the late Burton Buttram Knight and Evelyn Marie Davis Knight. She worked at Fannin Regional Hospital in Blue Ridge as a billing clerk in the business office. She was a member of Morganton Baptist Church. She is survived by sons and daughter-in-law, Kelly Turner of Blue Ridge, GA and Brian and Claudia Turner of Decatur, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Greg Reece of Morganton, GA; brother, Tom Knight of Soddy Daisy, TN; niece, Kristin Burrus; and grandchildren, Zachary Reece, Joshua Reece, Jacob Reece, Seth Reece, Isaac Turner and Sofia Turner. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. from the Akins of Blue Ridge Chapel with Rev. Chris Scoggins officiating. Music will be by Matthew Scoggins. Pallbearers will by Zachary Reece, Joshua Reece, Jacob Reece, Seth Reece, Isaac Turner, Greg Reece, and Greg Burrus. Interment fill follow in Buttram Cemetery in Dayton, TN.
