Barbara Ann Hyde, age 77, of Blue Ridge, Georgia, passed away on September 8, 2024, in Blue Ridge. She was born on February 13, 1947 in Florence Alabama.

In the late 1960s, Barbara began her career as a model for Sears and Roebuck. She transitioned into retail grocery in the 1970s, later moving into a role assisting corporate stores with internal issues. From 1987 to 2006, Barbara owned and operated a beloved tavern in Senoia, Georgia.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Barbara was deeply devoted to her family. She cherished spending time feeding the woodland animals and took immense pride in caring for her sons. Her nurturing and kind nature will be remembered by many.

She is preceded in death by her former husband, Rodney Brent Hyde.

She is survived by her sons, Randy Hyde (Mandi) of Blue Ridge, GA, and Stanley Hyde of Greenville, SC; grandchildren, Rodney Hyde, Alivia Johnson, and Taylor Hyde; and great-grandchild, Charlie Johnson.
