Barbara Lynn "Nana" Hughes, age 75, of Blue Ridge, passed away on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 in Jasper, GA. Born on May 27, 1942 in Copperhill, TN, she was the daughter of the late Clyde Keener and Pearl Chancey Keener. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of McCaysville/Copperhill where she was a member and taught the Joy Sunday School Class for many years. She worked as a Secretary at Fannin County High School. She is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her daughter, Lori Lynn Hughes Quintrell of Blue Ridge; sisters and brothers-in-law, Janice and Wayne Brooks of McCaysville and Robin and Terry Imler of Blue Ridge; grandchildren, Chloe Pearl Quintrell and Roy Cole Quintrell; and many nieces, nephews, and many friends who loved her dearly.
