Barbara Ann Patterson, age 63, of Copperhill, TN passed away Sunday, August 28, 2011 at her home. Mrs. Patterson was a native of the Copper Basin area and was a daughter of the late Ernie and Leavy Allen Cantrell. She was a homemaker and a member of the Mt. Zion (Tumbling Creek) Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by a son, Daniel Patterson.She is survived by her husband, Alvin Patterson of the home; sons, Edwin (Kim) Patterson of Copperhill, TN and Danny Patterson of Copperhill, TN; daughters, Phyllis (Joe) Hensley of Copperhill, TN and Charmell (Robert) Mealer of Copperhill, TN; brother, Ed (Loretta) Cantrell of Copperhill, TN; sisters, Margaret (Tommy) Waters of Chatsworth, GA, Mildred (Hayden) West of Dalton, GA and Betty Brown of Dalton, GA; mother-in-law, Ruby Patterson of Copperhill,TN; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, August 30th at 2:00 p.m. from the Mt. Liberty Baptist Church with Rev. Lloyd Deal, Rev. Gerald Payne and Rev. John Newton officiating. Music was by Alex and Angie Deal, the Deal Family and Rev. John Newton. Pallbearers were Brian Arp, Harold West, Scott Waters, Josh Patterson, Carlton Patterson and Daniel Deal. Honorary pallbearers were Keith Brown, Arvil West, Wesley Cearley, Eli Patterson, Kegan Patterson, Jasper Mealer and Hayden Deal. Interment followed in the church cemetery.
