Audrey Mae Ensley, age 88 of Epworth, GA passed away on Monday, August 12, 2013, at Kindred Hospital Rome in Rome, GA. She was born Saturday, July 11, 1925 in Higdon, GA to the late Rufus Watkins and Margaret Golden Watkins. Mrs. Ensley was a homemaker. She was a member of Lebanon Baptist Church and also the Women on Missions. Mrs. Ensley was preceded in death by her husband, Claude Benjamin Ensley; brothers, James Watkins, Annis Watkins, Arnold Watkins and Ernest Watkins; sisters, Grace Ensley, Eva Gay McFarland and Janie Dockery.Survivors are children, Margaret Ensley of Gainesville, GA, Marleen Ensley of Marietta, GA, Maxine (Ben) Vissage of Mount Rest, SC, Kathy (Jimmy) Lee of Epworth, and Michael Ensley of Epworth, GA; sister, Jessie Holloway of Ellijay; grandchildren, Gregory Lee Vissage, Kristine Scruggs, Stacey Smith, Maranda Leigh Ensley and Anna Cindy Ensley; great-grandchildren, Adrian Smith, Austin Smith, Peyton Smith, Michah Vissage and Henry Scruggs.Funeral service were held on Thursday, August 15, 2013 at 12 noon at Lebanon Baptist Church with Rev. Scott Baugh, Gregory Lee Vissage and Rev. David McLendon officiating. Music was by Vernon Owenby, Barbara Rittenberry and Carol Thomas. Pallbearers were James Roy Ensley, Kenneth Ensley, Benny Ensley, Jim Holloway, Leon Watkins, Larry James Watkins, George Ensley and Charles Ensley. Honorary Pallbearers were Greg Vissage, Ronnie Smith, Justin Scruggs, WMU of Lebanon Baptist Church, Kenneth Watkins, Jamie Ensley, Donald Watkins, Ronald Watkins, Jimmy Ensley, Danny Ensley, Lynn Ensley, Gary Ensley and Robert Nelson.
