Mr. Arnold Hemming, age 78, of Farner, TN, passed away on September 7, 2021 in Cleveland, TN. He was born in Farner to the late Roy Carl and Myrtle Mae Jones Heming. He was a member of Isabella Baptist Church but had attended the Pleasant Hill (River Hill) Baptist Church. He loved gardening, spending time on his porch, but especially lending a helping hand to his friends and neighbors. Arnold had worked for a number of years at the Piggly Wiggly in Ducktown. He was preceded in death by his parents, and siblings, Elmer Lee Heming, Don Heming, James Heming, Jay Heming and infant Frankie Heming. Survivors include his loving wife of 43 years, June Hembree Hemming; daughters and son-in-law, Laura Ann Hemming and Nicole Hemming both of Farner, TN, and Kelly and Josh Elsea of Soddy Daisy, TN; granddaughter, Saralyn Elsea of Soddy Daisy, TN, brother and sister-in-law, Harold and Loretta Heming of Coker Creek, TN; sister, Esther Bishop of Ducktown, TN; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, September 10, 2021 at 4:00 p.m. from the Akins Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Josh Ledford officiating. Music will be provided by Janice Reid. Interment will follow in the Turtletown Baptist Church Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Timmy Joe Hemming, Jimmy Hemming, Paul Heming, Jed Hemming, Tim Brawley and Philip "Bit" Ledford.
