Obituary

Anthony Kim Lindner, age 65, passed away on Tuesday, March 3, 2026.

He was born on January 12, 1961, at Fort Benning, Georgia. He honorably served his country in the United States Air Force as a fuel specialist. Throughout his life, he was dedicated to serving others, a calling he continued to fulfill through his work as a certified nursing assistant, where he cared for those in need. Anthony had a deep appreciation for music, especially guitars, and he enjoyed classic cars.

He was preceded in death by his father, Kimsey Buryl Lindner.

Survivors include his mother, JoAnn (Danny) Oliver of Morganton, Georgia; his sons, Matt Oliver of Morganton, Georgia, and Lucas Lindner of Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin; his grandchildren, Nola Oliver and Liz Oliver; along with extended family members and friends.

Memorial services were held on Saturday, March 21, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. from the Akins-Cobb Blue Ridge Chapel with Rev. Scott Graves officiating. Music was provided by Mary Kate Dickey. Eulogy was provided by Brian Montgomery. The family visited with friends prior to the service from 1:30 p.m. until the service hour of 2:00 p.m.

Anthony will be laid to rest at Crestlawn Cemetery in Copperhill, TN at a later date.
