Please update the Stanley obituary. Adding an honorary pallbearer, Jimmy Stanley. Anna Jane Stanley, age 80, of Blue Ridge, passed away on Thursday, December 28, 2017 in Blue Ridge, GA. Born on May 4, 1937 in Copperhill, TN, she was the daughter of the late Luther Alonzo Elrod and Verna Mae Withrow Elrod. She was of the Church of Christ faith. She was a loving wife and mother, who loved spending time with her family. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert Lee Stanley; siblings, Morris Elrod, Junior Elrod, Dorothy Moon, and by an infant sister. She is survived by sons, James Earl Caine of Blue Ridge, Gary (Betty) Stanley of Blue Ridge, and Terry Davenport of Blue Ridge, who she loved as her own; daughter, Sheila (Jackie) Green of Blue Ridge; grandchildren, Andrew Caine and Amy Caine; and special niece, Betty Jo Roberts of Resaca who she loved as her own. Funeral services were conducted on Sunday, December 31, 2017 at 2:00 pm from Akins Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Eric Davenport and Rev. Gene Ware officiating. Eulogies was provided by Melissa Norton and Tami Dillard. Music was provided by Lauren Searcy, Amanda and Jerome Stewart. Interment followed in the Macedonia Church of Christ Cemetery. Mike Anderson, Wayne Farmer, Bill Ritchie, Jason Perego, Jeff Stanley, James Stanley served as pallbearers. Joe Stanley, Randy Harrison, Dusty Stanley, Joe Bennett, Jason Norton, Judy Sisson Daum, Jimmy Stanley, and Jason Stanley served as honorary pallbearers.
