Anna Lou Postell, age 78, of Epworth, GA passed away on Tuesday, September 6, 2022 at Life Care Center of Copper Basin. She was born on February 19, 1944, in McCaysville, GA, to the late Charlie Sluder and Girthey Cantrell Sluder. Anna was a member of Colwell Baptist Church. She was a lifelong resident of Fannin County.

Anna is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Howard Thomas Postell; son, Dewayne Sluder; and infant brother, Curtis Sluder.

She is survived by her children, Dewyatt Sluder of Chickamauga, GA, Regina Bradburn of Blue Ridge, GA, and Merinda (Richard) Haines of New Smyrna Beach, FL; grandchildren, Roxanne Reed of Blue Ridge, GA, Jeffrey Partin of Acworth, GA, and Dylan Bradburn of Epworth, GA; great-grandchild, Afton Snow Partin; and siblings, Carl Yoder, Mary Whaley, Carolyn Morris, Bill Sluder, Leonard Sluder, Melvin Sluder, Alvin Sluder, Marty Sluder, and Harold Sluder.

Funeral services were conducted on Thursday, September 8, 2022 at 11:00 am from the Akins-Cobb Blue Ridge Chapel with Rev. Delmar Davenport officiating. Music was provided by her daughter, Merinda Haines. Interment followed in the Colwell Baptist Church Cemetery.
