Mrs. Anna Mae McKamey, age 91, of Ooltewah, TN, formerly of Blue Ridge, GA, passed away peacefully on August 30, 2022 at her residence. She was born in Coal Creek, TN, to the late Barton and Mary Edna Wilson Cooper. She was a talented seamstress and spent most of her working life at Magnet Knitting Mills, Van Raalte and later retired from Levi Strauss Company in Blue Ridge. Mae was a faithful and longtime member of the Blue Ridge First Baptist Church. Mae loved to sew and cook for her family. She lived a life of service to others. The years preceding her declining health she volunteered her time at the Life Care Center of Copper Basin and was an active member of the Fannin Regional Hospital Auxillary better known as the "Pink Ladies". She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William Carl McKamey; and one brother James Cooper.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, David and Theresa McKamey of Ringgold, GA; grandchildren and their spouses, Matthew and Betsy McKamey and Anna and Jason Royal; great grandchildren, Hector, Carlton, James, and Flint Royal and Cooper McKamey; and sister and brother-in-law, Ruth Ellen Duff and husband, James Duff of Clinton, TN.

The family would like to thank the staff of The Lantern at Morning Point of East Hamilton, Hearth Hospice, and special caregiver Caroline Knight for the loving care provided for their mother and grandmother.

A private graveside service to honor Mrs. McKamey will be at the Chastain Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Harold Willis officiating.
