Mrs. Anna Bernadine Hunt Kuhn, age 78, of Warner Robins, GA passed away in Blue Ridge, GA on July 24, 2009. Bernadine was born in Cottageville, WV, as the youngest of five children, Juanita, Zada, Starling, Vernon children. They were the children of the late Ether and Emma Durst Hunt on April 4, 1931. She was baptized at Harlem Baptist Church in Harlem, GA where she resided for almost thirty years. She was a retired Civil Servant of the United States Army at Fort Gordon, GA and a lifelong care giver and homemaker. In the late 1950's and early 1960's she spent eight years in Europe as a homemaker and the wife of a member of the United States Army. While in Germany, she traveled to France, Luxemburg, Switzerland, Austria, and Italy. After her retirement from the Civil Service in the 1990's, she returned to West Virginia to help care for her elderly mother. Later she also assisted with the care for one of her older sisters. Since 1999 she resided in Warner Robins, GA with her eldest son where she enjoyed gardening and helping maintaining the flowers around the yard.Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Shirley Elaine Kuhn Yeomans and husband, William Al of Blue Ridge, GA; three sons and daughter - in-laws, Harold Ray, Jr. and Betty J. Baston Kuhn of Warner Robins, GA, Ronald Way and Debra Lynn Crawford Kuhn, of Shepherdsville, KY, Phillip Karl and Elizabeth Jane Keith Kuhn of Haverhill, MA; six grandchildren, Stephanie Diane Kuhn Adams, Christopher Robert Kuhn, Sharon Elaine Kuhn Smith, Mitsy Nicole Kuhn, Kallan Taylor Chastain Kuhn, Molly Grace Kuhn; six great grandchildren, Hillary Elaine Kuhn, Maya Elizabeth Brown, Courtney Leigh Smith, Alexis Elayne Kuhn, Garratt Gage Smith, and Catlin Reece Kuhn.Memorial Services will be conducted Sunday July 26, at 3:00 p.m. from the Akins Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Tom Jordan officiating.
