The Akins Funeral Home of Blue Ridge announces the death of Mrs. Angela Marie Wilson, age 37, of McCaysville who passed away Tuesday, February 12, 2008. She was born in Dekalb County, GA on January 23, 1971. She worked as an administrative assistant, worked for a licensed insurance agent, and as a server at Good Fellas Restaurant over the course of her career. She was a member of Avondale First Baptist Church in Avondale Estates, GA. She is survived by her husband, Jeffrey L. Wilson of McCaysville; daughter, Myranda Amber Wilson of McCaysville; sons, Dylan Avery Wilson of McCaysville and Kyle Patrick Smith of Dahlonega, GA; mother, Phyllis B. Sigman of Conyers, GA; father, Eddie Sigman of Conyers, GA; brother, Richard Edward Sigman of Powder Springs, GA; sister, Barbara Ann Stanley of Loganville, GA; grandmothers, Mary Hellen Burdett of Dacula, GA and Edith Marie Sigman of Decatur, GA. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, February 18, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. from the Akins of Blue Ridge Chapel with Rev. Terry Callihan officiating. Pallbearers will be Gary Huff, Jay Middleton, Lance Willford, Sean Byers, Neil Collis, Chuck Collis, and Dennis Burdett. Graveside services along with a white dove release will follow in Chastain Memorial Park.
