Angela Housley Tallant, age 47, of Sevierville, TN passed away on Thursday, May 5, 2022. Angela was born on December 1, 1974 in Copperhill, TN to Johnny and Doris Housley. She was a 1993 graduate of Copper Basin High School where she played basketball. Angela was known as a very happy person with a tremendous giving heart that had a special love for her family, especially her husband and daughter. She is survived by her loving husband of 17 years, Ricky Tallant of the home; daughter, Elisa Blakely Ann Tallant of Sevierville, TN; parents, Johnny and Doris Housley of Copperhill; brother, Jon (Ayano) Housley of Knoxville, TN; sister, Elisa (Pete) Gray of Blue Ridge; nieces and nephews, Austin (Joanna) Trammell, Colton Gray, Kala Housley, and Lia Housley; special prayer mom, Liz Burgess; and several aunts, uncles, other relatives, and friends. Funeral services were conducted on Monday, May 9, 2022 from the McCaysville Church of God at 5:00 p.m. with Rev. Danny Rhodes officiating. Music was provided by Dwayne Housley,Tracey Housley Duez, and Roy Tipton. Pallbearers were Pete Gray, Austin Trammell, Colton Gray, Chad Satterfield, William "Bill" Housley, and Max Housley. Per Angela's request, cremation will follow the service. The family respectfully request that all floral tributes please be suitable to take home.
