Angela Denise Ballew, age 63, of Ducktown, passed away on Sunday, June 1, 2025 in Knoxville. She was born on April 27, 1962, in Ducktown, to the late Jim Ballew and Marie Patterson Ballew. She was a member of Friendship #3 Baptist Church. Angela is preceded in death by her parents; and siblings, Randall Ballew, Ronnie Ballew, and Patricia Wright.

She is survived by her siblings, Bobby Ballew, Joe (Susie) Ballew, and Melissa Taylor; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other family also survive.

A funeral service was held on Thursday, June 5, 2025 at 3:00 p.m. from the Akins-Cobb Copperhill Chapel with Rev. Ronnie Dilbeck officiating. Music was provided by the Friendship #3 Baptist Church Choir. Interment followed in the Zion Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers were Brandon Ballew, Jamie Ballew, Danny Ballew, Bradley Ballew, Tommy Taylor, Joe Ballew, Bobby Ballew, and Wesley Chastain. The family visited with friends at the funeral home on Thursday, June 5, 2025 from 12:00 p.m. until the funeral hour of 3:00 pm.
