Mr. Amos Dunn, age 87, of Blue Ridge, GA passed away Thursday, July 14, 2011 at his home. Mr. Dunn was born on December 30, 1923 in Fannin County, GA to the late John Henry Dunn and Annie Payne Dunn. He was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church. He is survived by a niece, Bangel Norton and her husband Harrison Norton of Blue Ridge; sister, Lucy Allen of Mineral Bluff, GA; half-sister, Mary Ann Ware of Murphy, NC; and half-brother, Billy Dunn. Funeral were Saturday, July 16, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. from Macedonia Baptist Church with Rev. Ed O'Neal, Rev. Melvin O'Neal, and Rev. Thomas Payne officiating. Music was provided by the Payne Family. Pallbearers were Danny Ensley, Kevin O'Neal, Danny Patterson, Paul Allen, Hoyt Payne, and Wesley Payne. Honorary pallbearers were Mr. Dunn's nephews and great nephews, Ebbie O'Neal, Carl O'Neal, Daniel Shuler, and Newell O'Neal. Interment followed in Patterson Cemetery.
