Mrs. Alicia Satterfield, age 40, of Epworth, GA passed away on Saturday, March 8th, 2008 in the Kennestone Hospital in Marietta, GA. She was a loving wife and mother. Mrs. Satterfield graduated from Dalton College receiving her degree as a Registered Nurse. She was currently employed at the Fannin Regional Hospital, where she had received the 2006 Patience Choice Award. She was also a member of the McCaysville Church of God. Alicia enjoyed spending time with her family and traveling. Survivors include her husband of twenty one years, Scott Earl Satterfield of the home; two daughters, Ashely Nadine and Amber Roxanne Satterfield both of the home; mother and step-father, Barbara and Terry Roberson of Chatsworth, GA; father, Johnny Stewart of Chatsworth, GA; brother, Mitchell Stewart of Savannah, GA; sisters, Kimberly Stewart-Soroka of St. Augustine, FL and Jackie Johnson of Cherokee, NC; nieces and nephews, Kaileigh, Peyton, Austin, Avery, Brady, Ben, Adam, Lily and Liberty. The Satterfield family would like to express special recognition to Alicia's special friends; Anna, Amanda and Sharon; her co-workers at Fannin Regional Hospital; the entire working staff and M & M Mars of Cleveland, TN. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday March 11, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. from the McCaysville Church of God with Rev. Chris Taylor officiating. Music was provided by the German family. Interment followed in the Kingtown Baptist Church Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Paul Cochran, Jeff Kaylor, Anthony Walden, Russell Thomas, Mitchell Stewart and Chad Satterfield. The following gentlemen served as honorary pallbearers: Ryan Watkins, Brian Satterfield, Scott Taylor, Dr. Timothy Whitaker, Tony Satterfield and Terry Roberson.
