Mrs. Alice Sheely, age 84, of the Life Care Center of Copper Basin passed away Wednesday, May 25, 2011. Mrs. Sheely was born in Inez, KY to the late Walbridge and Ada Moore Cornett. She was a member of the McCaysville Church of Christ.She is survived by her husband Eugene Sheely of the home; sons, Robert (Melanie) Sheely of McCaysville, GA, John Sheely of Brookings, Oregon, Jim (Debbie)Sheely of Glendale, AZ; daughter Mrs. Alice (Min. Bill) Johnston of McCaysville,GA; sister, Nancy Davis of West Union,Ohio; eight grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren.Funeral services will be conducted Friday, May 27th at 12:00 p.m. from the Akins of Copperhill Chapel with Minister Bill Johnston and Minister Keith Ritchie officiating. Music will be by Jason Cook and Joey Cook. Burial will follow Sunday, May 29th at 2:00 P.M. from the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, 244 McGill Street, Lowellville, Ohio 44436 with interment to follow in the Petersburg Cemetery of St. John Lutheran Church in Petersburg, Ohio. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.
