Alene "Deenie" Bradburn Lowe, age 80, of Blue Ridge, GA passed away on Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at Pruitt Health Care in Blue Ridge. She was born in Union County, GA, on December 6, 1935 to the late James Lawson Bradburn and Zillie Teague Bradburn. She was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed gardening and spending her time outside. She never met a stranger and anyone who knew her fell in love with her and her laugh. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Earl Buren Lowe; infant son, Billy Eugene Lowe; brothers, Fred, Charlie, J.B., Eddie, and Ardlen Bradburn; sisters, Mae Watkins, Betty Lou Killian, Ada Nell Johnson, Ruby Lee Davenport, and Shirley Bradburn. She is survived by sister, Mary Stewart, of Murphy, NC and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, November 4, 2016 at 2:00 p.m., from the Akins Funeral Home Chapel of Blue Ridge. Rev. Phillip Thomas will officiate. Music will be provided by the Phillip Thomas Family. Interment will follow in the Chastain Memorial Park Cemetery. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: David Stanley, Eddie Stanley, Randy Johnson, Hank Davenport, Johnny Johnson, and Steven Green.
