Mr. Albert Charles Young, age 90, of Woodstock, GA passed away Sunday, June 5, 2011 in Amelia Gardens Health Care Center in Woodstock, GA. Mr. Young was born in Iron River, Michigan on September 17, 1920 to the late Stephen Young and Anna Albert Young. He was of the Catholic Faith. Mr. Young was preceded in death by his wife Marion Young. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and Keith Farmer of Woodstock, GA; sister, Eileen Wilhite of Genesse, Michigan; grandchildren, Cindy and husband Gary Carpenter of Clarksville, TN, and Michael Cheek of Addison, TX; and great grandchildren, Christy Carpenter and Michelle Carpenter. Funeral services were conducted Wednesday, June 8, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. from the Akins of Blue Ridge Chapel with Dr. Tom Jordan officiating. Music was by Dr. Tom Jordan. Interment followed in Chastain Memorial Park. Akins Funeral Home of Blue Ridge was in charge of arrangements. .
