Mr. Albert Gene Yates, age 85, of McCaysville, GA passed away Monday, July 30, 2012 in the Hospice of Chattanooga in Chattanooga, TN. He worked as a bus driver for Bensalem Township and was an Air Force veteran. He was preceded in death by a brother, Jimmy Yates. He is survived by two daughter, Denise Yates Hyatt of McCaysville, GA and Valorie Yates of Japer, GA; brother, Joe Yates of Philadephia, PA; sister, Lucille Koestel of Philadelphia, PA; four grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Mr. Yates was cremated. He will be interred in Washington Crossing National Cemetery in Pennsylvania at a later date. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.akinsfuneralhome.com.
