Adam Reece Taylor, age 44, of Farner, TN passed away on Monday, May 8, 2023. Adam was born on January 9, 1979 in Copperhill, TN to the late Johnny Taylor and Joan Mason Taylor. He worked as a timber cutter for Frerich's Sawmill for nearly twenty years. Adam loved spending time outdoors, especially fishing, was a great woodworker, and enjoyed riding his side-by-side with his son, Hunter and daughter, Kristin. He is also preceded in death by his siblings, Brian Keith Taylor, Ricky Lynn Taylor, and Nath Taylor; and grandmother, Nora Mason.

Adam is survived by his loving wife, Hope Taylor; children, Hunter Graves Taylor, Kristen Graves Taylor, Dakota Key, Allie Davis, and Tori Taylor; siblings, Faye Taylor, Renae (Mike) Bennett, Tom (Mel) Taylor, B.J. Taylor, Linda Taylor, and Carolyn Cearley; and a host of other family members and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, May 17, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. from the Akins-Cobb Chapel with Rev. Eddie Trantham and Rev. Josh Ledford officiating. Interment will follow in the Taylor Family Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Curtis Carper, Dakota Key, Wesley Mason, Matthew Cole, Jimmy Trantham, Hunter Graves, Red Jones, and Derrick Cearley. Honorary pallbearer will be James Womble. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, May 17, 2023 prior to the service from 12:00 p.m. till 2:00 p.m. Condolences may be made to the family online at www.akinscobb.com.
