Ms. Rhonda Jean Williamson, age 47, of Blue Ridge passed away Tuesday, January 29, 2008 at her home. Born in Polk County, TN, she was the daughter of the late Abner Williamson and Shelby Green Williamson. She is survived a daughter, Jessica Renee Loftis of Georgia; sisters, Joan Campbell of Epworth and Felicia Cowan of Blue Ridge; uncles, Elbert Green of Summerville, SC, Dean Williamson of Marietta, GA, Basil Williamson of Atlanta, GA, and Ray Williamson of Murphy, NC; aunts, Shirley Barnes of Blue Ridge, Delia Green of Dalton, Mary Alice Williamson of McCaysville, Mildred Green of Blue Ridge, and Wilda Scroggs of Flowery Branch, GA; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and other friends. Memorial services were conducted Saturday, February 2, 2008 at 3:00 p.m. from Barnes Chapel Church with Rev. Marvin Poole officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery.
